2025 REALTORS® Hope for Hunger
What is REALTORS® Hope for Hunger?
REALTORS® Hope for Homeless was established in 2012 by the REALTOR® Association of Southern Kentucky, with the purpose of helping poverty stricken and homeless children, individuals, and families in our community by collecting non-perishable foods, toiletries, and money. Since the conception of this event, our focus has made a minor shift. In 2020, we changed the event’s name to REALTORS® Hope for Hunger in order to reflect that shift. While we are still concerned with homelessness in our area, we have partnered with the schools in our service area to assist in fighting hunger and food insecurities by helping to feed hungry children and their families.
REALTORS® and Business Partners will be present during a 2-day event collecting items, sorting donations, and bringing awareness to hunger and food insecurities Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th, 2025.
Who Benefits?
Many of the summer food programs for children stop with the end of the school year, like the local “backpack” program, which provides a child with meals during the weekends throughout the school year. All food collected by REALTORS® Hope for Hunger will be donated to local School Resource Centers, which amounts to 30+ schools in Bowling Green/Warren County, and countless others in Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan and Simpson Counties for their summer food program. Most of the food is then distributed directly by one of the Family Resource Coordinators visiting the homes of these children during the summer.

Our goal for 2025 is to donate 1,000,000 servings of food to our local schools and we are asking for your sponsorship to help make this possible!
